West Shore Aware
West Shore Aware is a philanthropic organization of gay men and women living in Saugatuck/Douglas and the greater west lakeshore area. It is dedicated to increasing the positive influence and public awareness of the contributions that gay men and women make to the communities to which they belong. They do this by raising funds which are then awarded to other local charitable service organizations on behalf of the gay community.

In addition to monthly meetings, local members participate in several events throughout the year. Our invitational meet is each September and Called “There’s Something About Saugatuck.”
